Alright, now on to family fun. I said that I would catch you up on June photos/happenings, but now that it's July, I am just going to try to keep current. :)
On the 3rd, we got invited to go boating with some friends who's grandparents own a house on one of the lakes in Loveland. It was a great day to be in/on/near the water.
We got Riley a life vest, which surprisingly he LOVED! He really liked walking into the water and starting to float. When he would float, he would squeal and laugh, we would pull him back to shore, he would walk out of the water, turn around, and walk back in. Over and over and over! :)

We didn't know how he would handle the boat, but he loved that too!
Waiting for the boat to "go! go! go!"

He didn't like the wind when the boat was going, but he loved the ride and would clap every time!

We started the 4th by going out for breakfast! We haven't done that in forever, and it was a nice treat. After we got back, we remembered that our annual neighborhood 4th of July parade was about to start! We ran home, put on our matching shirts, and walked in the parade!

It was such a nice day, that we went to the pool after the parade for some playtime!

After Riley's big nap of the day, we went back to the lake to spend the 4th with Ashley, Justin, and Riley's friend, Talon!

We wondered if Riley would be scared of the fireworks, but Matt forced him to watch the neighbor's set theirs off, and once he saw that they weren't going to hurt him, he started to really like them! He called them, "boom, boom"s, (which Daddy started), and when asked if he wanted to see boom booms, his eyes would get SO big and he would say "boom, boom!" while nodding. So cute. He LOVED the big firework display! I know that he looks scared in the picture, but he was just in the process of saying "moar! moar!" (more) :)

You know I read your blog!!! And I love it! Also, in that picture where you are holding Riley and watching fireworks, and he's saying moar, you look really pretty!
