Chemo

A huge shout of, "YOU GO GIRL!", for my Aunt Joy today as she starts fighting her breast cancer with all her might. Today is the first day of chemo....of the sick, the vomiting, the beginning of the last time she will see her hair for awhile. The awful beginning of willingly poisoning her own body for the greater gain of killing the cancer that is invading it! The beginning of a road that we will all be walking with her: physically, emotionally, mentally, and most importantly, prayerfully. It will certainly be hard on all of us, but hardest on her and her children. This is a long road. Please keep my Aunt Joy and her children, Malik and Grace, who live with her, as well as Ben, who is in college in another state, in your prayers. They will need all of them. Thank you.
