Monkeys, chocolate, and Riley

If you are wondering about the monkey background that is currently on this blog, it is a tribute, if you will, to Riley. We call him 'monkey', thus the monkeys.

As far as the time when Matt was out of town, no sugar went pretty well! I did ended up eating another mini bag of popcorn with a small handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips though. It was my sister-in-law's birthday on Sunday and I had a super small sliver of chocolate cake then too, but I am pretty proud of myself. Proud because the cake didn't even taste very good to me and I only had a little bit. This is a huge milestone! Now I know that I can eat a little piece of cake now and then and be just fine!!!! I am so happy that it didn't taste very good to me, because I know that in the not so distant past I would have gobbled up a big piece and then wanted more. HURRAY!!!!! :)

Now for the good stuff; Riley! :) Oh how we love our little boy!

Riley still very much enjoys cuddling with Max. Unfortunately for Max, this is not always gentle. Fortunately for Riley, Max doesn't bite :)




More park time!




At the park, Riley fell into a hole in the sand box. He was fine, the sand had just gotten in his mouth, ears, and nose! He is about to sneeze in this picture :)
