June Already?!

Halfway through June already! Am I the only one who thinks this year is just flying by?! Crazy.

More babies! If I am remembering correctly, this was their second "batch" of the summer! 3 this time around!
"Why are you looking out your window at us?!"

Pool time! Boy, do we appreciate having a neighborhood pool in the summer!

Riley discovered that he can hula hoop pretty well, and was so proud of himself! (I think we will be getting one in the near future....shhhhh!)

Tall marker 'tower'

We went down to the Springs for Matt's Jiu Jitsu tournament. Bonus time with Nana, Duke, and Aunt Kaylee! The kids and I had to leave the tournament before Matt competed because Hailey was overheating, so we missed him winning first and second places in his division! Hurray, Honey!
Playing "goaling" in the backyard. :)

Princess/singer/cool girl

Riley tried his first piece of gum. He didn't like it much, and didn't really even chew it. :)

"Fighting" Daddy at his tournament

Playing 'Angry Birds' with Aunt Kaylee

Proud of Daddy!

Watching the bunny in the yard with Duke

While we were in the Springs, the High Park fire started close to home.
View of the smoke from our bedroom window (un-zoomed)

The smoke haze as seen from our back porch. We couldn't even see  the foothills that day.

More smoke.

The birds started another branch of their family! She's sitting on more eggs!
Daddy was bringing her some food.

I love that cheese ball grin!

Matt left for a trip to Spain, and Riley started acting strange. I thought he was just really sad that Daddy was gone.Well, one night he started complaining that his tooth hurt. I didn't know if he was serious, or if he had been grinding his teeth or something since he missed Matt. The next day he mentioned it a couple times and I decided to make a dentist appt for the next day, just in case. They told us that the tooth that he had a cavity in was dying, and that he would probably need a root canal. We scheduled that for the next week and got some antibiotics to help with the infection/pain. Well, during a very sleepless night that night, the poor baby's face swelled up to enormous proportions! I called early the next morning to tell them that whatever needed to happen, needed to happen THAT day! They ended up pulling the tooth and putting a spacer in.
Poor miserable baby!

Passed out after his tooth was pulled. (That is a whole other crazy post!)

After he woke up from his nap, he was back to his happy self and feeling much better!
P.S. The tooth ended up being the reason that he had been acting strange about Matt leaving. After it was out, he was fine. The crazy things pain does to us, huh? I am so glad he is better!

Taking a ride on Thomas

I will end with a random project that I finally finished. I actually made this awhile ago, but it has been sitting in my living room until this month. I finally hung it up! It looks so nice.
Bad picture of good looking homemade art. :)

  1. That art does look nice! Good job! I might have to make something like that one day when I have a place of my own to decorate! Also, cute kiddos!
