August catch-up

There was a lot that happened for us in August this year! Besides the New Mexico trip (see previous blog about this trip), Matt had his 10 year high school reunion....



Riley had another growth spurt (this is taken to show that he is almost too tall to walk under our tall island in the kitchen)....


Matt and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary with a delicious dinner at The Melting Pot (our usual celebration place)....




Riley learned how to do sumersalts (spelling???)....


Matt turned 28....




We built a fun fort in the livingroom (a first for Riley)...



And probably the saddest part, we had a combined b-day party (Carrie, Kaylee, and Matt)/going away party for Kaylee! She is on Mercy Ships in Africa for 6 months! We are proud of her, but miss her a bunch! If you are interested, you can keep up with her here: http://itinerantbarista.blogspot.com/
