Spain #3

Day 7 (Oct. 10)
The first thing in the morning, we headed to the huge IMAX theatre by Oceanografic (called Hemisferic) to watch Wild Ocean! It was great! The screen was bigger than any other IMAX I have been to, and covered the whole ceiling! The earphones we had to use were pretty funny. We got a big kick out of how they looked. We decided that Riley looked like a little bull :)

After the movie, we headed to do a little shopping. Riley found a long glass wall that he enjoyed watching himself in. It was really cute!

Is he not just the most beautiful little boy?! I am so in love!(With both of my boys!)

After shopping, we went to the beach again. Riley had a great time with Daddy! Matt couldn't take his shirt off in this part of Spain because of his tattoo! This part of Spain tends to be a little volatile-in that they would like to be their own separate country....so he had to hide the Spain bull tat!

Back at the hotel, Riley decided to take part in one of his favorite pastimes....playing with the lights!


Day 8 (Oct. 11)
We decided to stay in Valencia an extra night because we loved the city and wanted to see more of it....plus, our hotel was great! We went to the beautiful old part of Valencia, which had great views, great pastry, and bad paella. :)





We did go to beach again, but I didn't really get pictures because the boys were too far away. I did take one though....this is for you, Daphne! (Look closely, and I am sorry for the speedos!) ;)

Dinner that night was great, but late! Riley was too pooped to wait up for a table and took a little nap.

During dinner, he was more interested in my fish faces than food. :)



Day 9 (Oct. 12)
This was a LONG day. We left Valencia and made the long drive to Malaga.

In Malaga, we met Matt's friend, Nacho. (Look at our little music man!)


After leaving Malaga with Nacho and going to his family's home in Fuengirola, we found out that it was feria(fair) time! We made a fun, unplanned stop! Riley had a ball, and was in awe of everything!




From there, we did another drive to Conil de la Frontera, which is about a half hour outside of Cadiz. Our litte travler was a trooper! He was pretty content to watch Elmo's World and Veggie Tales on the drive.


We were a little worried about our hotel because we booked it online, it was cheap (for Europe), and we couldn't really tell what we were getting. When we finally found the hotel, we discovered that it was a 4 star resort on the beach! WHAT?! We were so thrilled! We really got lucky with the hotels this trip!
