September...Part 3...The Cruise!!!

We ended our September with a cruise! Our friends were getting married on the ship at the beginning of the cruise, and those who wanted to could come on a week long trip with ports in Jamaica and Grand Cayman....YES, PLEASE! **Note: These are only a few of the many, many photos we took. :)

Hailey and I had to fly to Miami by ourselves because Matt had a speaking engagement that morning. He took Riley with him on a later flight.
Waiting for our flight, which she did very well on!
DAY 1:
The boys got into the hotel room at 1AM, poor guys, and we were up and getting ready for the wedding/boarding the ship at 6!

We could see the ship from our window
Mr. Handsome

Looking beautiful!
Waiting at the docks to be let on the ship...

...they got us there early and made us wait, and wait, and wait!

Finally about to get on the ship with Uncle Eric and Aunt Racheal

Checking everything out with Uncle Eric

Chillin' already

The groom, Mark

The beautiful bride, Aura

Hurray!

Watching us set leave port from our wonderful balcony!

Obligatory "lifesaver with the ship name" photo :)

Riley's favorite window seat by where we ate dinner

Exploring!
DAY 2
We had a sea day today, and enjoyed the pool and explored the ship.

It was a beautiful, perfect day, and we really enjoyed time on the balcony!

Swimming in the salt water pool

Our wonderful dinner companions almost every night, Eric and Racheal!!

We went out to enjoy the SUPER windy third deck, and let Riley run off some energy! :)

DAY 3
Our first port of call! Ocho Rios, Jamaica!
Heading to our first stop, Dunn's River Falls!

Riley and Matt climbed a 600 foot waterfall!! Hailey and I enjoyed playing in part of it while we waited for our boys.

There they are!!

Matt said that Riley was so brave and did really well!

They did it!!

The second part of the day was spent at beautiful Paradise Beach, and boy did that place live up to it's name!

It can't get much more beautiful than that!

Someone was thrilled to be on a beach again!

Someone else didn't quite know what to think about the whole "sand" thing.

"What is this? It is so weird!"

Love this!

Daddy and the kids

I do a photo like this everyt ime we are at a beach to commerate the trip

We also try to get a picture of everyone's feet in the sand...it's getting harder to accomplish!

Yum!! Coconut water!

Riley refused to come close to it, which is why he doesn't have a picture.

I think they both had a really good time!

We ended the day with some balcony time, and some ice cream! You can't beat that!

Getting stuck in Eric and Racheal's trash can

DAY 4
Our second port of call, Grand Cayman!!
Heading to Seven Mile Beach for some more time in the sand and surf!

Our ship

They had a picnic set up for us, which the local iguanas and chickens appreciated, especially when people tossed them food.

Riley trying to get up the nerve to feed an iguana

Another beautiful beach!

Family picture....wait! Someone's missing!

There she is, asleep in the stroller. :)

Riley's and my feet

These boys just won't stop showing off their muscles!

Back on the ship, we enjoyed some quality time, during and after dinner, with Eric and Racheal.

Awwww!!! I just had to throw this in there! :)

Poor Hailey started walking right before the cruise, so she was pretty thrown off by the movement of the ship.

They are both so great with our kids, and we really loved being able to spend so much time with them!

DAY 5
Another day at sea. Not too many pictures today.
Time to play with the trains

Kisses from Daddy

Listening to the intercom messages. He loved them! :)
Pool time!

After his nap, Riley work up SO sick. He kept throwing up, and just felt horrible. It really came out of nowhere.
We pulled into Miami that night

DAY 6
Time to disembark and head home. Riley was SO sick, even throwing up some blood! :( When we got to the airport, the paramedics there told us to take him to the hospital before we flew home, which Matt did. We didn't know if they would make it back to the airport in time to fly home with us, but thankfully they did. He was one sick puppy. They didn't know what he had, but guessed some stomach bug that came with a fever of 104!
A picture with our room steward, and Matt's new friend, Made

My poor sick baby. He was feeling a little better at this point because of everything they gave him at the hospital, but boy did it come back when we got home!

All in all, we had a GREAT time! :)
